Defining Standards: IAIA would establish comprehensive, global standards for AI systems, focusing on critical aspects such as data privacy, fairness, robustness, transparency, and security.
Benchmarking Performance: The association would develop tailored benchmark datasets and testing scenarios to evaluate AI systems across different domains (e.g., healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles), ensuring products meet specific performance and reliability thresholds.
Regulatory Alignment: By aligning with international regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO standards), IAIA certification could be recognized worldwide, helping AI products gain smoother regulatory approvals.

Technical and Ethical Testing: IAIA would evaluate AI products for data bias, fairness, robustness, transparency, and security, tailoring its testing based on the system’s complexity and intended use.
Tiered Certification: A multi-tiered certification system (e.g., basic, intermediate, advanced) would categorize AI products based on risk, with specialized certifications for industry-specific requirements like healthcare or finance.
